We are delighted to announce that Jules Matteoni, CEO of Glasgow Prestwick Airport, will be speaking at WMX Asia in September 2026.
Jules Matteoni was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Glasgow Prestwick Airport on 1 July 2026, following more than three decades of service at the airport.
Joining the airport in 1994 as a member of the Airport Fire Service, where he gained the experience of leadership and crisis management, Jules quickly progressed through a range of senior operational leadership roles to ultimately overseeing all of the Airports operations.
Alongside his leadership, Jules is a high-energy, commercially minded, future focussed CEO who is naturally wired to create momentum and get things done. Jules has played a key role in developing the airport’s international cargo business, helping to strengthen commercial relationships with airline partners, customers, and government stakeholders. His leadership has been instrumental in the airport’s growth as a leading UK gateway for international cargo and e-commerce, particularly through the development of strong trade links with China.
As Chief Executive Officer, Jules is focused on building on this success by driving sustainable growth, strengthening international partnerships, and delivering operational excellence.
WMX Asia is taking place from 15 – 17 September 2026. Visit www.wmxasia.com for more information and to book your place.
