George Trantas is Vice President of Sales Accelerators at Avalara, leading the specialized sales organization across Marketplaces, Cross-Border, 1099, Property Tax, and Business Licenses.
He previously served as Avalara’s Senior Director of Global Marketplaces, growing the marketplace ecosystem from 50 to 800+ partners and scaling revenue from $4M to over $85M ARR. A 30+ year veteran of the e-commerce and retail technology industries, George has held leadership roles at Pitney Bowes and eBay, and founded the multi-million dollar e-commerce business Designer Athletic.
